These are the terms for using louloubooks.com and what we sell and give away here. They are written in plain words. If anything is unclear, write to us at hello@louloubooks.com.
Who we are
Lou Lou Press is a small independent press that publishes books, journals, printables and gifts, and sells them directly on louloubooks.com. Some of our books are published under pen names. Our postal address: Lou Lou Press 46 Hanover road London NW10 3DS
Using this website
- You may browse, read, listen and buy here for your own personal use.
- Please don’t try to break, overload or copy the website, and don’t use it to send spam or anything unlawful.
- We may change or pause parts of the website at any time.
Books, printables and other digital products
- When you buy or receive a digital book, audio or printable, you get a personal licence to read, listen to and print it for yourself and your household.
- Please don’t sell, share, upload or pass on the files. Send friends to louloubooks.com so they can have their own copy.
- All words, pictures and recordings belong to Lou Lou Press and its authors and are protected by copyright.
- Our stories are fiction unless a book clearly says otherwise. Our self-help books are for information and support; they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and do not replace a professional.
Orders, prices and delivery
- Prices are shown at checkout, including any tax we must charge. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card details.
- Printed books and gifts are printed when you order them and sent to the address you give. Delivery times shown are estimates.
- If something arrives damaged or wrong, write to us and we will put it right.
- If you live in the EU or UK, you have consumer rights that these terms never take away, including the right to withdraw from most purchases within 14 days. For digital files that start downloading straight away, you agree at checkout that this right ends once the download begins.
Free gifts, letters, memberships and clubs
- Free gifts and letters are free. You can unsubscribe with one click in any letter.
- Memberships and reader clubs follow what their own page says (what you get, the price if any, how to leave). You can leave at any time.
- How we look after your details is explained in our privacy page.
Stories and messages you send us
Some of our clubs invite you to send us your own story. When you send one, you confirm it is yours to share, and you allow us to read it, edit it and publish or narrate it (in books, videos or podcasts), with your name or the pen name you choose in the credits. You keep your own rights to it. Please never send anything about a real person that could hurt them, or anything unlawful.
Our own content tools
We make our videos with our own tools, which post to our own YouTube channels and send drafts to our own TikTok accounts. Only Lou Lou Press uses these tools. What they do with data is explained in the privacy page.
Responsibility
We take care to keep the website and our products accurate and working, but we can’t promise they will always be free of errors or interruptions. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
